This is the week to buy passes and ticket packages for the 2017 Sundance Film Festival, which runs Jan. 19-29 in Park City and at venues in Salt Lake City and the Sundance resort in Provo Canyon.

Here's the schedule:
• Today, noon to 8 p.m. • Member pre-sale, where Sundance Institute members at the Supporter or Storyteller levels can purchase passes and packages. (Supporter level requires a $500 donation to the Sundance Institute; Storyteller level is $2,500.)
• Tuesday, starting at noon • Utah locals can buy the Locals SLC Pass ($400), good for any screening in Salt Lake City, and includes one photo credential; or the Locals 10 Ticket Package, formerly the Film Lovers package ($300), which is good for 10 tickets to any screening, plus two credentials.
• Wednesday, starting at noon • All packages and passes open to everyone, until sold out.
• Dec. 21 • Package holders will receive their time slots for selecting tickets.
• Jan. 3-6 • Package holders will select tickets.
• Jan. 10 • Member pre-sale for individual tickets begins, for any Sundance Institute members at any level.
• Jan. 11, 10 a.m., to Jan. 13, 4 p.m. • Utah locals can buy individual tickets.
• Jan. 17, 10 a.m. • Individual ticket sales open to everyone.
• Jan. 19-29 • The festival happens.

Here is a rundown of what passes and packages are available:
• Express Pass (First Half) • $3,500 • Screening all-access, Jan. 19-24; priority entrance, one official photo credential. Only available through Sundance Circle (a minimum $5,000 donation required).
• Express Pass (Second Half) • $3,000 • Screening all-access, Jan. 25-29; priority entrance, one official photo credential, one Awards Party ticket.
• Eccles Theatre Pass (First Half) • $2,500 • All access to screenings at Park City's Eccles Theatre, Jan. 19-24; priority entrance, one official photo credential. Only available through Sundance Circle (a minimum $5,000 donation required).
• Eccles Theatre Pass (Second Half) • $1,500 • All access to screenings at Park City's Eccles Theatre, Jan. 25-29; priority entrance, one official photo credential, one Awards Party ticket.
• Off-Peak Pass • $450 • Access to screenings 11 a.m. or earlier, 10 p.m. or later, Jan. 20-29; priority entrance, one official photo credential, one Awards Party ticket.
• Grand Theatre Pass • $300 • All access to screenings at Salt Lake City's Grand Theatre, Jan. 20-22 and 27-29; priority entrance, one official photo credential.
• Official Credential • $300 • One non-photo credential, access to non-theater festival venues — Filmmakers Lodge, New Frontier, Sundance ASCAP Music Café (daytime admission; must be 21 or older); does not allow access to films. (Most ticket packages include two official credentials; all passes are considered credentials.)
• 10 Ticket Package (First Half) • $600 • Valid Jan. 19-24, 10 tickets, two official credentials. Limit one per customer.
• 10 Ticket Package (Second Half) • $500 • Valid Jan. 25-29, 10 tickets, two Awards Party tickets, two official credentials. Limit one per customer.
• 10 Ticket Package (Salt Lake City only) • $250 • Valid Jan. 20-29, 10 tickets to Salt Lake City screenings only, two official credentials. Limit one per customer.
• Locals SLC Pass • $400 • Valid Jan. 20-29, full access to Salt Lake City screenings; one official photo credential. (Not available in member pre-sale.) Valid Utah driver's license or Utah state ID required at time of pick-up.
• Locals 10 Ticket Package (Film Lovers) • $300 • Valid Jan. 19-29, 10 tickets good for screenings in all locations; two official credentials. (Limit one per customer; not available in member pre-sale.) Valid Utah driver's license or Utah state ID required at time of pick-up.
• Ignite Package (Second Half) • $250 • Valid Jan. 25-29, 10 tickets and five ticket vouchers (for use in waitlist or redemption at a main box office); access to special panels and events — Meet the Industry, The Inside Scoop on the 2017 Sundance Film Festival and Sundance Institute, Speed-Dating With Festival Filmmakers, Networking Lunch; one official credential (access to non-theater venues, must be 21 or older to attend Music Café). Open to ages 18-24, proof of age required. Limit one per customer.
• Shorts Ticket Package • Valid Jan. 19-29, five tickets to Shorts Program screenings in any location (limit 4 per screening). Limit one per customer.
• Utah Student 10 Ticket Package (Salt Lake City only) • $150 • Valid Jan. 20-29, 10 tickets to screenings in Salt Lake City; only open to students, valid student ID from full-time undergraduate and graduate students currently enrolled at a college or university in the state of Utah; one official credential (access to non-theater venues, must be 21 or older to attend Music Café). Limit one per customer. (Not available in member pre-sale.)
• Individual tickets • $25 for Park City screenings Jan. 19-24; $20 for Park City screenings Jan. 25-29, and all Salt Lake City screenings; $10 for Sundance Kids screenings • Member pre-sale begins Jan. 10; sale to Utah Locals starts Jan. 11 at 10 a.m. MST, runs through Jan. 13, 4 p.m. MST; sale to general public runs Jan. 17-29.
• Day of show tickets • $25 for Park City screenings Jan. 19-24; $20 for Park City screenings Jan. 25-29, and all Salt Lake City screenings; $10 for Sundance Kids screenings • Limited number available at main box offices starting at 8 a.m. for that day's screenings. In person only.
• Waitlist tickets • $20; $10 for Sundance Kids screenings • Queue electronically for a chance to get last-minute tickets to films, available via web or mobile app. Register your account, choose a film, receive a waitlist number, arrive at the theater at least 30 minutes before the screening for a chance to get a ticket. Tickets are not guaranteed; view likelihood of admittance via the eWaitlist system. Cash only.
