The Trans-Siberian Orchestra is marking its 20th anniversary in 2016 with a tour that will continue its tradition of a pre-Thanksgiving show in Salt Lake City.

Creator/composer/lyricist Paul O'Neill's "rock theater" holiday musical extravaganza will play two shows, at 4 and 8 p.m., on Tuesday, Nov. 22, at Vivint Smart Home Arena in downtown Salt Lake City.

O'Neill will bring back one of the favorite TSO tales, last year's "The Ghosts of Christmas Eve," on this year's tour. The story tells of a runaway teen who breaks into an abandoned vaudeville theater on Christmas Eve, where she encounters the theater's caretaker and the building's ghosts and spirits.

Tickets go on sale Sept. 16 at Smith's Tix. Presale for fan club members runs Sept. 7-9 on the TSO website. Tickets will include a digital audio copy of "The Ghosts of Christmas Eve," with a bonus track, "Music Box Blues (Daryl Pediford Tribute New York 2004)."
