• Blues-rocker Grace Potter performs in support of her first solo album, "Midnight," at Red Butte Garden, 300 Wakara Way, Salt Lake City. Opening: Con Brio. Show start at 7:30. Sold out.

• Texas alt-country band Micky & The Motorcars performs at The State Room, 638 S. State St., Salt Lake City. Opening: Jeff Crosby and the Refugees. Show starts at 8. Tickets are $17, at Ticketfly.
