Country superstar Eric Church will kick off 2017 with a massive North American tour — including a return trip to Salt Lake City.

Church will bring his "Holdin' My Own" tour to 60 cities, from January to May — with a stop on Saturday, March 25, at Vivint Smart Home Arena in Salt Lake City.

Each show on the tour will feature two sets with Church and his band.

Church announced the tour Tuesday night in a Facebook Live chat from Colorado's Red Rocks Amphitheater, where he was performing the first of two shows.

In 2015, Church played two shows at The Viv (when it was still called EnergySolutions Arena) on his mega-selling "The Outsiders" tour. His scheduled Jan. 31 show was rocked when his band and crew came down with a stomach virus — prompting Church to perform a full acoustic set, mostly solo, on a bare stage. He came back for a make-good show, with all the pyrotechnics, on May 25.

Tickets for Church's show next March go on sale sometime in September. Church's fans — known as the Church Choir — can register for pre-sale tickets on his website (http://ericchurch.com) now through Aug. 23.
