For those who like to plan ahead, here's some news: The first announcement of this summer's Red Butte Garden concert slate.
The full slate won't be announced for months, but one artist's name is already out: Ben Harper and The Innocent Criminals, who will headline at Red Butte on Wednesday, June 29.
Harper — known for his mix of rock, folk, blues and reggae — reunited with his band last year for a tour (including a September stop at Red Butte), and is releasing a new album, "Call It What It Is," on April 8.
The ticket presale launched today on Harper's website. General tickets go on sale to Red Butte members on April 25, and to the general public on May 2.
