• A screening of "Janis: Little Girl Blue," a documentary about the life and legacy of rocker Janis Joplin, happens at the City Library, 210 E. 400 South, Salt Lake City. Director Amy J. Berg will take part in a Q&A after the screening. Presented by the Utah Film Center. Show starts at 7. Free.

• The Utah Symphony plays "Bugs Bunny at the Symphony," a night of the music of Warner Bros. cartoons played alongside the original animation, tonight at Abravanel Hall, 123 W. South Temple, Salt Lake City. Show starts at 7 p.m. (and repeats Wednesday). Tickets available at ArtTix.
