It doesn't matter what Salt Lake City's NBA arena is called — Brian Regan will strain its limits.

The family-friendly comedian has nearly sold out his appearance at Vivint Smart Home Arena on Friday, March 18 — so he's added a second performance at The Viv on Saturday, March 19.

Regan did the same thing two years ago, playing two shows in early 2014 when the building was known as EnergySolutions Arena. Before that, in 2012, Regan sold out 10 shows at Abravanel Hall, selling more than 26,000 tickets.

In September, Regan's show "Brian Regan: Live from Radio City Music Hall" became the first live broadcast ever on Comedy Central.

Tickets for Regan's March 19 show go on sale Friday, 10 a.m., at Smith's Tix.
