Justin Bieber will be 22 next March — and he'll be showing he's all grown up by going on a massive North American tour.

Bieber's "Purpose World Tour" will play 58 cities, starting March 9 in Seattle's Key Arena and finishing July 18 at New York's Madison Square Garden. One of the stops, on Saturday, April 2, is at Vivint Smart Home Arena, 301 W. South Temple, Salt Lake City.

Bieber's road to pop stardom began on YouTube, where a record executive saw one of his videos in 2007. Soon, Bieber was working with Usher and signed a recording contract. His first album, "My World 2.0" (2010), which incorporated songs from his 2009 EP "My World," was a global smash — and generated the hits "One Time," "One Less Lonely Girl" and "Baby." He followed that with a Christmas album, "Under the Mistletoe" (2011), and the platinum-selling "Believe" (2012), with the hit single "Boyfriend."

Bieber's newest album, "Purpose," hits stores Friday. It has already produced two hits, "What Do You Mean?" and "Sorry."

Tickets for the show at The Viv go on sale Friday, Nov. 20, at Smith's Tix.
