For the second time in two years, comedian Dave Chappelle will perform in Utah.

The acclaimed stand-up comic will perform Monday, Sept. 14, 7 p.m., at the Capitol Theatre, 50 W. 200 South, Salt Lake City.

Chappelle is probably best known for his hilarious Comedy Central sketch series "Chappelle's Show" — and even more famous for abruptly walking away from the show during production of the third season in 2006.

Chappelle earned rave reviews for his 2013 tour, which nearly sold out Salt Lake City's Abravanel Hall even though it was announced only six days before the show. This time, he's giving fans an entire month.

Tickets for the Sept. 14 show are $56, and go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. via Smith's Tix and ArtTix.
