The Days of '47 Parade happens today, starting at 9 a.m., at South Temple and State Street — then runs east to 200 East, turns south to 900 South, and heads east to Liberty Park. The parade is free.

• The Native American Celebration takes place after the parade, at Liberty Park, 600 East and 900 South, Salt Lake City. Events take place from noon to 10 p.m., culminating in fireworks at dusk. Free.
