The final headliner of this summer's Twilight Concert Series has been announced — and she's really avant-garde.

St. Vincent is the stage name of art-rock singer, guitarist and multi-instrumentalist Annie Clark, who started her solo career in 2007 after brief stints in The Polyphonic Spree and Sufjan Stevens' touring band.

She has released five albums, including a 2012 collaboration with former Talking Heads leader David Byrne and her eponymous 2014 album, which the music site Pitchfork described by saying it "does not sound like it was recorded here on Earth."

St. Vincent will close out the Twilight Concert series on Thursday, Aug. 27, at 7 p.m. at Pioneer Park, 300 W. 300 South, Salt Lake City. No opening act has been named yet.

Tickets for St. Vincent are $5 in advance, via 24Tix, or $10 at the gates.
