The Sundance Institute has added five new members to its board of trustees, the group that governs the nonprofit arts organization.

The five will join the 18 current board members, including Sundance president and founder Robert Redford and board chair Pat Mitchell.

The five new trustees are:

• Fred Dust, partner at IDEO, the international design firm, and a leading voice in human-centered design and networked innovation.

• Philipp Engelhorn, founder and director of the not-for-profit production company and film foundation Cinereach, which backed the Oscar-winning "Citizenfour" and Sundance Film Festival entries "Cutie and the Boxer," "Pariah" and "Beasts of the Southern Wild."

• Caterina Fake, co-founder of the Internet photo-sharing site Flickr, former director and Chairman of the Board of the craft website Etsy, and founder and CEO of the mobile app Findery.

• Gigi Pritzker, film and stage producer, and CEO of OddLot Entertainment, where she produced such films as "Rabbit Hole," "The Way, Way Back" and "Rosewater."

• Alejandro Ramírez Magaña, CEO of Cinépolis, the largest film exhibition company in Latin America.
