• Alt-rock band Mae celebrates the 10th anniversary of their album "The Everglow," tonight and Saturday at Area 51, 451 S. 400 West, Salt Lake City. Show starts at 6 p.m. both nights. • Festivities for Utah Pride take place tonight through Sunday, mostly at Library Square, 200 East and 400 South, Salt Lake City. Festivities begin with the Grand Marshal Reception, with author and trans advocate Janet Mock as Grand Marshal, tonight at 6:30 p.m., at The Leonardo, 209 E. 500 South, Salt Lake City; tickets are $50, at the door (cash only). Opening ceremonies for the Pride Festival are tonight, starting at 9 p.m., at Library Square; the festival continues Saturday, 3 to 11 p.m., and Sunday 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.; headliners are rapper/singer Dev, Saturday at 8 p.m., and "girl group" Xelle, Sunday at 5:30 p.m. Tickets for the festival are $5 for tonight's ceremonies, $12 (arriving 3 to 6 p.m.) or $16 (arriving after 6 p.m.) for Saturday, $12 for Sunday, or $20 for the weekend package, at the gates (cash only). Also, the annual Utah Pride Parade is set for Sunday at 10 a.m., along 200 South between 400 East and 200 West, downtown Salt Lake City; the parade is free.

• Rap acts Dorrough and Word One share the bill tonight at Infinity Event Center, 26 W. 600 South, Salt Lake City. Host: Brent B Real. Show starts at 7 p.m. Tickets are $25, at Smith's Tix.

• Dance-pop trio Holiday Mountain performs tonight at Kilby Court, 741 S. Kilby Court (330 West), Salt Lake City. Opening: Diatom, UTA Trax. Show starts at 7 p.m. Tickets are $10, at 24Tix.

• Dark-wave metal band The Dreaming performs tonight at Liquid Joe's, 1249 E. 3300 South, Salt Lake City. Opening: Death Valley High, Downfall, Par for the Curse. Show starts at 7 p.m. Tickets are $15, at Smith's Tix.

• Bluegrass/Southern rock band Poor Man's Whiskey performs a tribute to Paul Simon's "Graceland," tonight at The State Room, 638 S. State St., Salt Lake City. Show starts at 9 p.m. Tickets are $12, at the venue's website.

• Hip-hop duo Felly & Gyyps performs Saturday at In the Venue, 219 S. 600 West, Salt Lake City. Show starts at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $12 in advance, $15 at the door, at Smith's Tix.

• Nashville singer-songwriter duo The Truman Brothers launch Davis Arts Council's "Summer Nights With the Stars" series, Saturday at Kenley Amphitheater, 403 N. Wasatch Dr., Layton. Opening: Lucy Scholl. Show starts at 8 p.m. Tickets, from $10 to $15, at the Davis Arts website.

Glen Phillips, frontman of Toad the Wet Sprocket, will perform a solo acoustic show Saturday at The Club at 50 West, 50 W. 300 South, Salt Lake City. Show starts at 8:30 p.m. Tickets are $30, at Smith's Tix, and include dinner (starting at 7 p.m.). Must be 18 or older to attend.
