Once again, the metal band Five Finger Death Punch is visiting Utah in September.

The L.A.-based metal band will co-headline with rap-metal band Papa Roach on a North American tour in September and October — which includes a stop on Sunday, Sept. 20, at the Maverik Center, 3200 S. Decker Lake Drive, West Valley City.

Stops on the tour were selected by fan voting, with 1.5 million fans requesting the bands come to their towns.

"Both 5fdp and Papa Roach are bands of the people - our fans are who propelled us to success," Five Finger Death Punch guitarist Zoltan Bathory said in a statement. "So what better way than to give the fans ownership in the tour?"

Opening the show are In This Moment and From Ashes to New.

Tickets for the Maverik Center show will go on sale Friday, 10 a.m., via TicketMaster. Pre-sale tickets will be available on Wednesday.
