The veteran punk band Social Distortion will celebrate the 25th anniversary of its landmark self-titled album with a North American tour — including a stop in Salt Lake City.

Social Distortion will perform Thursday, Sept. 3, at The Depot, 400 W. South Temple, Salt Lake City.

The band will perform every track from their 1990 album "Social Distortion." That includes their hits "Story of My Life," "Ring of Fire," "Let It Be Me" and The Cricket's go-to karaoke jam, "Ball and Chain."

In a statement, Social Distortion frontman Mike Ness said: "We are very excited about this tour. It's not often we get to celebrate anniversaries of records, or play them in their entirety, but this record was a milestone for us and after rehearsing it we realized it was a hell of a set."

Opening acts on the tour will be Nikki Lane and Drag the River.

Tickets go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. at Smith's Tix.
