Hit-making singer-songwriter Michael McDonald will be coming back to Utah this summer.

The man who sang the solo hits "I Keep Forgettin'" and "Sweet Freedom," and the Doobie Brothers' songs "Takin' It to the Streets" and "What A Fool Believes," will perform on Thursday, August 13, at The Depot, 400 W. South Temple, Salt Lake City.

Tickets, at $41 in advance, go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. at Smith's Tix outlets. (Tickets on the day of the show are $45.) It's a 21-and-older show.
