Van Halen is hitting the road again, and Utah is on the tour schedule.

The veteran rock band, with singer David Lee Roth joining the Van Halen family (brothers Eddie and Alex on guitar and drums, respectively, and Eddie's son Wolfgang on bass), will play the USANA Amphitheatre in West Valley City on Saturday, July 18.

Roth, the flamboyant lead singer during the band's hit-making days of the '70s and '80s, has been reunited with Van Halen since 2006. The band has a new live album, "Tokyo Dome Live in Concert," that will be released next Tuesday. Rolling Stone reports that the band will appear Monday and Tuesday on "Jimmy Kimmel Live."

The opening act is rock guitarist Kenny Wayne Shepherd and his band.

Tickets for the tour go on sale Saturday, April 4, at Smith's Tix — priced from $35 to $149.
