This will put a bustle in your hedgerow: Robert Plant is coming to Salt Lake City in May.

The acclaimed rock singer and songwriter — forever known as the voice of Led Zeppelin — is going on tour with his current band, Robert Plant and the Sensational Space Shifters, in support of Plant's most recent album, "lullaby and … the Ceaseless Roar."

The tour will land at The Depot, 400 W. South Temple, Salt Lake City, on Wednesday, May 27.

Plant's new album, released last September, is garnering some of the best reviews the 66-year-old singer has received as a solo artist. NPR named it one of the top 50 albums of the year, while The Wall Street Journal wrote that "Plant knows where rock's past begins and he's pulling it into the future."

The Depot is a surprisingly intimate venue for Plant, considering other stops on the 15-city tour include amphitheaters and festivals — including the Sasquatch! Festival in George, Wash., the BottleRock Festival in Napa, Calif., and Bonnaroo in Tennessee.

Singer-songwriter JD McPherson will open the Salt Lake City show.

Tickets go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. via Smith's Tix, and should sell out quickly.
