The "Queen of Country Pop" is touring North America for the first time in 11 years this summer, including a stop in Salt Lake City.

Shania Twain, one of the biggest-selling female artists ever, will bring her "Rock This Country" tour to EnergySolutions Arena, 301 W. South Temple, Salt Lake City, on Saturday, Aug. 15.

Her fame began with her self-titled debut album in 1993, followed by four more albums — "The Woman in Me" (1995), "Come On Over" (1997), "Up!" (2002) and a 2004 greatest-hits compilation — that each topped the U.S. country album charts. Her first album since then, "Still the One: Live From Vegas" — recorded during her two-year residency at Caesars Palace — was released this week.

Opening for Twain in Salt Lake City is soul/pop-rock singer-songwriter Gavin DeGraw.

Tickets for Twain's show, priced from $46 to $136, go on sale Friday, March 13, at 10 a.m., at Smith's Tix. (A dollar on every ticket goes to the Shania Kids Can Foundation.) Pre-sale tickets will be available Tuesday.
