For fans of '90s punk and riot grrrl music, it's the equivalent of a Beatles reunion: Sleater-Kinney is getting back together.

According to Rolling Stone, the punk trio from Olympia, Wash., has reunited and will release its first album in 10 years, "No Cities to Love," on January 20.

The band will follow that up with a 13-date U.S. tour in February and an eight-city European tour in March. The U.S. tour starts Feb. 8 in Spokane, and will arrive in Salt Lake City for a Feb. 10 show at The Depot, 400 W. South Temple. (Pre-sale begins Tuesday at 9 a.m., the band's website says; other ticket information is pending.)

The band teased the new album by putting a seven-inch vinyl single of its newest single, "Bury Our Friends," on a new vinyl box set, "Start Together," which span's the band's career. (The video for "Bury Our Friends," featuring performance artist Miranda July, can be seen by clicking the image above.)

Sleater-Kinney was formed in 1994, and consists of singer/guitarist Corin Tucker, guitarist/singer Carrie Brownstein and drummer Janet Weiss. The trio released their last album, "The Woods," in 2005 — and, except for a brief performance at a Pearl Jam concert late last year, haven't performed together since. (In the interim, Brownstein has launched a second career writing for and starring in the sketch-comedy series "Portlandia.")
