Another BYU football game will be played on a Friday night this fall.
The Cougars announced Wednesday some kickoff times and a date change in conjunction with the Mountain West Conference, ESPN and the CBS Sports Network.
The biggest change is that November's game at UNLV's Sam Boyd Stadium has been moved from a Saturday (Nov. 11) to a Friday (Nov. 10) and will be televised by ESPN2. The bad news for East Coast fans and sportswriters and copy desk editors is that the game will kick off at 8:30 p.m. MT. Uggh!
The Cougars will also face Boise State on a Friday night Oct. 6 in their traditional Friday game before General Conference weekend. That game kicks off at 8:15 p.m. MT.
Other announcements Wednesday:
* BYU's game at Fresno State on Nov. 4 will be televised on one of the ESPN networks. A kickoff time has not been set.
* BYU's game at Utah State on Sept. 29 will be televised by the CBS Sports Network and will kick off at 6 p.m. MT.
* BYU's season finale at Hawaii will be televised by the CBS Sports Network and will kick off at 7 p.m. MT (4 p.m. HST).
