The Big 12 is turning over multiple stones — 17 to be exact — in its exploration of expansion, and the list includes BYU.

An ESPN report Friday said Big 12 commissioner Bob Bowlsby will host video conferences with 17 different schools, and that the conference is now more likely to remain at 10 teams or expand to 12 than balloon to 14 teams.

Other schools that will make presentations to the conference according to the report include: Boise State, Cincinnati, Colorado State, East Carolina, Houston, Memphis, New Mexico, Northern Illinois, South Florida, SMU, Temple, Tulane, UCF and UConn.
