It appears that ex-BYU guard Jordan Chatman will end up at Boston College.

Chatman's father, former BYU great Jeff Chatman, announced on his Instagram page on Tuesday afternoon that the graduate transfer will continue his career at the ACC school, and ESPN's Jeff Goodman tweeted out the same information around the same time.

Jordan Chatman did not immediately return a phone call seeking comment — just as he did not June 9 when BYU announced he was leaving the school after just one season of play. Chatman graduated from BYU in April with a degree in Asian Studies and has said he wants to pursue law school.

Chatman's father even noted via Twitter that his son had been accepted into BYU's J. Reuben Clark Law School.

However, Jeff Chatman later related via social media that the law school does not let its first-year students play a collegiate sport while enrolled.

Jordan Chatman, a 6-foot-4 guard, averaged 2.6 points per game and played about 10 minutes a game last season, which was his redshirt freshman season. He can play right away at BC because of the graduate transfer rule.

Chatman left his high school in Vancouver, Wash., with an associates degree and served a two-year LDS Church mission to Taiwan before ever enrolling at BYU.

Via social media, Jeff Chatman said his son received attention from BC, Davidson, Georgia Tech, Portland State, Minnesota, George Washington, Chaminade, Utah State Utah Valley, Weber State and Idaho State before choosing the ACC school. Boston College has a law school; the instate schools that expressed interest do not.

The Eagles struggled last season, going 7-25 overall and 0-18 in the ACC.

BYU brought in its own graduate transfer last week, landing Houston's L.J. Rose, a 6-3 guard who has one year of eligibility remaining.
