Thanks to all who came to see the members of The Salt Lake Tribune Editorial Board at our Wednesday morning meet and greet at the 300 South Toasters in downtown Salt Lake City.

We got some good comments from some of our more supportive readers, which is beneficial. We'd like to include more folks in these in the future, including more people who aren't big newspaper readers but who have some questions about how an editorial board operates. And some comments on how it should operate.

Any suggestions for a good location for the next such event? A place with room for, oh, 30 folks at a time, one that can cater and hold a table full of bagels and/or donuts and coffee?

I've received a couple of suggestions. Both bars in downtown SLC. That wasn't what I was thinking but, hey, it's crazy enough that it just might work.

Stay alert for news of our next meeting.
