Jordan's highly-successful football coach Eric Kjar is moving down the street. He accepted the head coaching position at Corner Canyon, which is situated in Region 7 with the Beetdiggers for competition from 2017-19, on Monday, the official Twitter account of Corner Canyon football announced.

Kjar was 69-29 in his eight seasons at Jordan, including leading the Beetdiggers to the 2012 Class 5A state championship, and is known as the orchestrator to some of the most prolific offenses in state history.

Kjar is well-known as a quarterback whisperer, as he's molded top signal callers on a yearly basis. Zach Wilson is already considered one of the top quarterbacks in the state for the Chargers, which has led to excitement in Draper about the two talents joining forces.

Don Eck, the only coach in Corner Canyon history, resigned in December with an overall record of 28-19 in his four seasons with the Chargers.

Also, first reported by Utah Sports Action, and confirmed by The Tribune, Tooele football coach Kyle Brady resigned from his post after six seasons.

Brady is arguably the best football player in Tooele history and he helped rebuild his alma mater into a legitimate contender in the 3AA classification. In 2015, Brady led the Buffaloes to the 3AA semifinals, which required the first playoff win since 2003.

When he inherited the program in 2011, it was in rough shape. In his first season, the Buffaloes went 0-10, but he proceeded to increase the win total every single year, finishing with an overall record of 28-36, including three consecutive winning seasons.
