The NBA all-star starters are set and, unsurprisingly, Jazzmen Gordon Hayward and Rudy Gobert will have to wait until the reserves are announced next Thursday if either is to be selected to the team for the first time in his career.
The 10 starters were picked this year using a new formula, giving 50 percent of the vote to fans, 25 percent of the vote to players and 25 percent to a panel of media members. The final result: Stephen Curry, James Harden, Kawhi Leonard, Kevin Durant and Anthony Davis will start for the West; Kyrie Irving, DeMar DeRozan, Jimmy Butler, LeBron James and Giannis Antetokounmpo will start for the East.
Here's how Jazzmen fared in thehttp://official.nba.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/4/2017/01/2017-All-Star-Starters-Fan-Voting-Results.pdf";> fan voting portion (total votes and their rank among Western Conference frontcourt and backcourt players):

Former Jazz point guard John Lucas III was among players who received a single vote and he is no longer in the league. Gobert, meanwhile, received one vote from the media panel, the only Jazzman to get one.

But in the interest of transparency, here were my votes, as one of the members of the panel:

EAST
Isaiah Thomas
Kyle Lowry
Jimmy Butler
LeBron James
Giannis Antetokounmpo

WEST
James Harden
Russell Westbrook
Kawhi Leonard
Kevin Durant
Anthony Davis
