The Utah Olympic Oval will hold its fifth annual Trick or Treat Street event Friday from 6 to 9 p.m.

The free event, open to the public and to all ages, includes trick-or-treat booths and other kid-friendly activities.

Local vendors will also offer Halloween-themed activities.

Activities include ice skating, face paling, arts and crafts, bounce houses and a family photo booth. Costumes are encouraged.

Skating on the Olympic Oval will be free for youth 12 and under, $5 for adults and $3.50 for seniors. Skate rental is available for $3.

New this year is a Haunted Houses Curling Tournament.

Expect a crowd. Last year's event drew over 4,000 people.

Participants this year include the Kearns Community Council, Kearns Oquirrh Park Fitness Center, Bikers Against Child Abuse, Salt Lake County, and Mascot Miracles Foundation.
