Seven Utah State football games have been added to the Mountain West Conference's 2016 national TV package, the league announced Friday.

Currently, eight of the Aggies' 12 games will be carried nationally, including five on the ESPN family of networks and three by the CBS Sports Network. Additional Utah State games could be televised when ROOT Sports and the Mountain West Network finalize their schedules.

Previously, USU's matchup on Oct. 28 against defending conference champion San Diego State was included in a package of 10 Friday night games that will be carried by ESPN or CBS.

The seven additions to the national schedule include:

• Air Force at Utah State, Sept. 24, ESPN family

• Utah State at Boise State, Oct. 1, ESPN family

• Utah State at Colorado State, Oct. 8, CBS Sports Network, 8 p.m.

• Fresno State at Utah State, Oct, 22, CBS Sports Network, 8:30 p.m.

• Utah State at Wyoming, Nov. 5, ESPN family

• New Mexico at Utah State, Nov. 12, ESPN family

• Utah State at Nevada, Nov. 19, ESPN family

The times and specific outlets for Utah State's games on ESPN will be determined during the season — usually within a 12-day window before they are played.

In all, 45 Mountain West games will be carried by ESPN and CBS.
