The eighth installment of The Salt Lake Tribune's statewide top 25 features tons of changeover and many programs appearing for the first time this season. Hunter and Viewmont, which face one another on Thursday in a Region 2 showdown, each joined the party for the first time, while Alta, which has found its groove offensively, also made its first appearance this season.

Davis jumped into the top five after Brighton suffered its second straight loss against two top five programs (Jordan and Sky View), but the top 10 remained unchanged in terms of programs. Olympus shot up the ranks eight spots, from No. 25 to No. 17, while Logan moved up six places. Dixie suffered the biggest drop, sliding down four spots after being upset by Snow Canyon.
