It came to them at halftime.

They aren't good enough to don a uniform and expect a win. They aren't good enough to simply show up. Quin Snyder never for once dreamed he would have to address a sense of superiority with this specfic Jazz team. But there they were, after two consecutive wins, playing the Boston Celtics like wins were pre-ordained. What happened, a 99-90 loss, was predictable.

So, the Jazz should put forth a better effort tonight against the Los Angeles Clippers. They should play harder, and they should play with a little more urgency.

"I think we realized what we were doing wrong at halftime," Snyder said. "We knew that we weren't playing well. It's a lesson that we learned in the middle of the game. And that's why we went on that long third quarter run."

The Jazz will start Dante Exum, Joe Ingles, Gordon Hayward, Derrick Favors and Enes Kanter against the Clippers. They haven't beaten Los Angeles this season in three tries, so this will be a test. It will be a test for Exum as well, as he goes against Chris Paul, one of the best point guards in the NBA. '
