The weekend brought some big deals at the 2015 Sundance Film Festival. Here's a round-up:

• The biggest deal at the festival, perhaps the biggest deal ever at Sundance, is for the teen cancer dramedy "Me and Earl and the Dying Girl." The Hollywood Reporter is saying Fox Searchilght is picking up the film, and that the bidding had reached $12 million (though Fox Searchlight is denying that).

THR is also reporting Rick Famuyiwa's urban comedy-drama "Dope" was picked up by Open Road Films (for U.S. distribution) and Sony (for international distribution). Open Road's deal, after a furious bidding war, is for $7 million, THR reported.

• The comedy "The D Train," starring Jack Black and James Marsden, was bought by IFC Films for $3 million, according to Deadline.

• Sony Pictures Classics has picked up Marielle Heller's coming-of-age drama "The Diary of a Teenage Girl," according to ComingSoon.com.

• And up-and-coming distributor The Orchard picked up the sex comedy "The Overnight," starring Jason Schwartzman, Adam Scott, Taylor Schilling and Judith Godreche.
