Today's Sundance "trailer of the day" is a short-but-sweet look at a man trying to hold his family together.

The Irish drama "Glassland" follows John (Jack Reynor), a Dublin cabbie desperate to rescue his mother (Toni Collette) from addiction. In the process, he gets deep into the criminal underworld, and the human-trafficking business.

The movie, which also stars Will Poulter ("The Maze Runner") is written and directed by Gerard Barrett. The trailer is only a 30-second teaser, but it gives some of the movie's gritty flavor.

"Glassland" will screen in the World Cinema Dramatic competition of the 2015 Sundance Film Festival.
