Kesha cancels solo Salt Lake City show, but will return with Macklemore on June 16

(John Salangsang | Invision/AP) Kesha, left, and Macklemore perform at Jingle Ball at The Forum on Friday, Dec. 1, 2017, in Inglewood, Calif. On Monday, Dec. 11, they announced The Adventures of Kesha and Macklemore tour, which will visit Usana Amphitheatre in West Valley City on June 16, 2018.

OK, Kesha fans, bad news first: Her slated Oct. 25 show at The Complex in Salt Lake City that was postponed indefinitely when she suffered an undisclosed injury has now been officially canceled and won’t be rescheduled.

Refunds are available at point of purchase. All phone and internet purchases will be automatically refunded for the purchase price and service fees, though a $3.25 mail-order fee is nonrefundable. Refunds will appear in accounts in seven to 10 business days.

But now, the good news: The Adventures of Kesha and Macklemore tour was announced Monday morning and will visit Usana Amphitheatre in West Valley City on June 16. Tickets range from $29.50 to $89.50. Gates will open at 5:30 p.m., and the concert will begin at 7.

Per an email sent out by Smith’s Tix, ticketholders from Kesha’s canceled solo show will be given presale access to the Usana concert. That presale, which necessitates a codeword sent via Smith’s Tix, will begin Wednesday at 9 a.m.

A presale available to Citi cardmembers begins Wednesday at noon and goes through Thursday at 10 p.m. Tickets go on sale to the general public this Friday at noon via LiveNation.com.

Every ticket sold will also result in $1 donated to charity. Kesha will donate her proceeds to RAINN (Rape, Abuse, & Incest National Network), the largest anti-sexual-assault organization in the U.S. Macklemore will donate his proceeds to M Plus1, and organization that advances racial and social justice through the M&RL Equity Fund.
