Pam Crowe-Weisberg has resigned as executive director of the Kimball Art Center in Park City to attend to family matters, the Kimball's Board of Directors announced Friday.
Reached by phone, Crowe-Weisberg said she was stepping down to care for her ailing father in Florida. Her mother died in January, she said.
Crowe-Weisberg joined the 32-year-old nonprofit art center in 2004 after many years of working in the fashion industry in New York City. Under her leadership, the Kimball introduced an annual exhibition of Latino art, created an arts-education program and grew its showcase event, the annual Park City Arts Festival.
The Kimball has named Bruce Larrabee, the center's chairman, its interim director.
