Pacifico brings Mexican folk dance to Park City

Pacifico Dance Company spices up the Eccles Center, 1750 Kearns Blvd., Park City, Saturday at 7:30 p.m. The dancers and musicians of the company combine vibrant costumes with traditional Mexican folk dances and music to educate audiences about Mexican culture. Don't stop believing: Southern Utah University's dance program presents "Journeys," a faculty concert featuring SUU dance students and visiting choreographers, Wednesday through Saturday at 7:30 p.m. in the Auditorium Theatre on SUU campus, Cedar City. It's magic: Repertory Dance Theatre's "Ring Around the Rose" series continues Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Rose Wagner Performing Arts Center, 138 W. 300 South, Salt Lake City. This week, magician Christopher Fair will take audiences on an adventure through the world of magic. He began his career as a Talent Roundup winner on the original "Mickey Mouse Club" in the '50s. In addition to being a magician, Fair studied ballet at the University of Utah and performed with Ballet West.
