Grab a ticket and get in line.
That's the message for Utah's Sarah Palin fans who hope to get a signed copy of her new book, "Going Rogue."
As part of her nationwide tour, Palin will sign 1,000 copies from noon to 3 p.m. Dec. 9 at Salt Lake City's Costco warehouse store, 1818 S. 300 West.
Store personnel will start handing out the 1,000 tickets at 10 a.m. that day.
"That's what we were told she could physically sign in a three-hour period," said Costco Administrative Manager Jeff Dillman.
Mathematically -- without a break -- that's one autograph every 10.8 seconds.
Dillman said the store plans to have police and crowd control on hand, just in case.
Palin's book tour has drawn hundreds of people in long lines.
Cherilyn Eagar, a conservative Republican who is running for U.S. Senate, said she plans to attend the event in a show of support for the former Alaska governor and running mate to unsuccessful presidential candidate John McCain.
Palin's controversial book chronicles her meteoric rise into the national spotlight as the standard-bearer -- and lightning rod -- of the Republican right-wing.
