In reference to David Jensen's letter, "Friedman and Herbert" (Forum, June 23), I too have a book that should be read by everyone: Climate Confusion: How Global Warming Hysteria Leads to Bad Science, Pandering Politicians and Misguided Policies that Hurt the Poor, by Roy W. Spencer.

Dr. Spencer, a climatologist and former NASA scientist, has more than enough experience to give an opposing view that is fair and balanced. In simple terms, Spencer explains how the climate system works, why man's role in global warming is more myth than science and how the global warming hype has corrupted Washington and the scientific community.
