A 3-year-old boy was run over by his mother as she backed her car out of their driveway Wednesday in Corinne, a small town west of Brigham City.
The boy's mother stopped the car when she realized she had struck the child at 5:55 p.m., said Scott Barnett with Box Elder dispatch. The boy was transferred to the Brigham City Community Hospital with minor injuries.
The accident remains under investigation. Charges against the mother have not been filed, Barnett said. - Ana Breton
