Natalie Cole to join Mormon Tabernacle Choir for Christmas

Singer Natalie Cole and historian David McCullough will be the guests at the Mormon Tabernacle Choir's annual Christmas concerts.

Free tickets are available for four events: a dress rehearsal Dec. 10 at 8 p.m.; concerts Dec. 11 and 12 at 7:30 p.m.; and a broadcast of "Music and the Spoken Word," followed by a mini-concert, Dec. 13 at 9:30 a.m. All events are in the LDS Conference Center on Salt Lake City's North Temple Street, between Main Street and West Temple.

Those wishing to attend may register from 12:01 a.m. Oct. 17 to 11:59 p.m. Oct. 26. Visit lds.org/events any time, or call 801-570-0080 or 1-866-LDS-TIKS between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday to Friday. All registrations will have an equal chance at receiving tickets in a random selection process. There is a limit of four tickets per household.

Cole is a nine-time Grammy Award winner whose hits include "This Will Be" and "Unforgettable," the latter a duet with her father, the late music legend Nat King Cole. McCullough won Pulitzer Prizes for his biographies of Harry S. Truman and John Adams; he also is a recipient of the Presidential Medal of Freedom.

David McCullough is the narrator for the Mormon Tabernacle Choir's annual concerts.
