Police say a registered sex offender masturbated in front of a woman in a parking lot then followed her into a store.

About 4:30 a.m. Saturday, a woman in the Wal-Mart parking lot in Hurricane heard a man calling for her. The woman went to the man's car and saw Donald Lester Keith, 50, masturbating as he began saying crude things to her, police said in a news release. The woman told Hurricane police she ran inside the store and Keith followed her. Police booked Keith into the Washington County jail on suspicion of misdemeanor offenses of lewdness, stalking and disorderly conduct.

Keith resides in Hurricane and is a registered sex offender for a conviction in Arizona, according to Utah's offender registry.
