An unidentified Weber County man was in good condition Friday after his brother-in-law stabbed him at a family gathering.

According to Weber County Sheriff's Lt. Philip Howell, the man was stabbed shortly before midnight at a summer cabin in Causey Estates east of Huntsville. Two men in their 20s had been drinking and arguing.

The victim suffered two stab wounds to the chest but no vital organs were injured, the lieutenant said. He was transported to McKay Dee Hospital, where he is in good condition.

The unidentified perpetrator has not been charged, but an investigation into the incident remains ongoing.
