About 11,000 marijuana plants were destroyed on Boulder Mountain in Wayne County on Tuesday, according to a news release. No one was arrested.
The plants were young, not ready for sale, said Wayne County Sheriff's spokesman Tal Ehlers. He would not release how they were found or the field's exact location.
Officers from the Wayne County Sheriff's Office, U.S. Forest Service, Utah State Bureau of Investigation and Central Utah Narcotics Task Force eradicated the plants.
