WASHINGTON - Presidential candidate Rudy Giuliani will make his second swing through Utah to pick up more Beehive State cash.
Giuliani, the former New York City mayor and the leading GOP candidate in national polls, will hold two fundraisers, one in Alpine and the other in Park City on Aug. 8. Giuliani visited Salt Lake City in late March to raise cash and is one of several candidates to drop into the state to fill campaign coffers in what is expected to be the costliest presidential contest ever.
Giuliani's campaign on Wednesday confirmed the trip.
Former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney has pulled the most money out of Utah, $3.8 million in the first six months of the year, but other candidates also have received donations. Utahns have donated $88,000 to Giuliani this year, according to finance reports.
